Natural and organic Mud is a  reservoir of minerals. Mud therapy is based on Nature that heals Nature. Both, the Mud and the human body consist of 5 basic elements, called “Panch Mahabhoots, which are earth, water, air, fire, and akash.

Thus, when mud is applied to the body, it absorbs, those components from mud, which is deficient in the human body through local absorption on the skin. The deficiency gets healed by attaining an equilibrium.

In different parts of the World, having different traditions and cultures, the mud/soil is used in different manners. In Korea, there is a “mud festivals”. In the Dead Sea, there is a practice of “mud bath”. In some places, it is a synonym for “Balneo Therapy”

In one sentence, it can be said that it Detoxifies the body. Though it is layered on the skin, so the maximum benefit is expected to skin diseases, but it indirectly affects all the organs and the tissues, which make them. This is because the skin is the door for the removal of body toxins, which are being circulated in the body fluid, lymph and blood. Skin is the opening of body channels that are connected to all the organs through blood circulation.

It cools the body by reducing excess “Pitta” dosha and elevating fire in each cell, organ, and whole-body until a normal level is attained.

Mud therapy makes the skin healthier by removing the dead cells, inducing the generation of new cells, and opening the shrunk skin pores to remove toxins, at a faster rate.

Mud therapy on the eye strengthens the vision and helps in the natural healing of several eye diseases, by modulating the physiological processes.  Recommended to those who are using more exposed to computer and mobile screens.

It is good for kidney diseases, having high blood urea and creatinine, jaundice patients having high bilirubin, and improves digestive power, which results to digestion problems such as gas, acidity, constipation, and stomach pain. It is a kind of external dialysis*

Mud therapy on the Head, gives a kind of meditation by external means, resulting to reduced anxiety, depression, headache etc*.

Mud therapy is also effective in managing joint pain related to Arthritis, local swelling and other pathologies, finally restricting normal movements. *
